As you can see, it’s a very short piece. I’m not sure how fast Mary Lee will take it, but many choirs seem to view it as a kind of competition to see how fast they can sing. There are some tricky syllables. Memorization (as always) would help get through those. We are going to sing the repeat that you hear in the videos and I’ve written the pdf that way. The scores you pick up at rehearsal may look slightly different.
I’ll add a pronunciation track for the Latin and German as soon as Ulla and I can get together to record it.
Trying something new here. I have added lyrics to my musescore file and I am uploading a pdf here so you can start learning the song before we distribute music. Also, if you are away from your score and you have a sudden desire to practice, you’ll have words and music anywhere you can access the internet. It may not look exactly like the printed score you’ll get at rehearsal, but it has all the notes and words.
For playback, click the line you are interested in hearing. To “fast forward” or “rewind” just click and drag the end of the moving line. Click the pause button on the album cover to stop playback. If you’d like to download a track to your own computer, right click on the track line and follow the pop up menu instructions.
