A choral ensemble for the Central Oregon Coast
Anything Goes 2019!
We’re getting close to our Anything Goes concerts coming up the last weekend of April and the first weekend of May. We’ll be in Yachats at the Commons on April 27 and in Lincoln City at the Cultural Center on April 28 and then we’ll finish up our season with our final concert in Newport at the First Presbyterian Church on May 5. We’re working on an eclectic selection of pieces, everything from Whitacre and Copland to P.D.Q. Bach. Check our blog post or events page for all the details.
The Central Coast Chorale
The Central Coast Chorale was founded in 1997 by Mary Lee Scoville and several local residents so that we could enjoy singing in a convivial and professional setting.
Women of Note
Our small group of women singers is called Women of Note. This auditioned ensemble steps out from the main chorale to perform separately at our concerts and on select other occasions.
The Chorus generally performs three major concerts per year. The 2018-19 season started off with two concerts in September with the Newport Symphony Orchestra and a series of holiday concerts in December. In March we’ll reprise our popular Mardi Gras concert and we’ll finish up the year with our Anything Goes series in late April and early May.
